I did wonder about that Rob. will contact the airline once we know who we are flying with.I came across a couple of posts which said that airline staff are not allowed to do that - could be for specific airlines though so best check with whoever you are flying with?
Just remembered, you are only allowed to take 100ml onboard a plane and I assume ice is included in that category. More research needed.
Just noticed that the dimensions for the epi-pens [if that is what they are?] are 18cm x 1.8cm. The height isn't a problem but the 1.8mm diameter might well be, my drops bottles are 2.3cm.
