may day holiday weekend

Grounded for another week

Last weeks my beloved had a serious bronchitis. Married for bad and worse; it's my turn now to have the coughs. But if I can keep my lungs inside we'll be off next week. Probably Brittany. Meanwhile I'll do some computering to keep me busy.:D

wildcamping around shrews as i have work on sat....boo hoo...:(

May day

Just got back, where was I? Out on Dartmoor being kept awake by druids. A one week tour of Cornshire, wild camping every night, no shortage of spots to park photos to follow.

A wash out

Well.........our trip to Scotland didn't happen. No. 2 daughter hurt her ankle very badly, my better half had severe tooth ache requiring an emergency root canal and that was Friday taken care of. Not wishing to spend the whole w/e on the road we decided to drive to Pembroke instead. Halfway yours truly rmembered that he hadn't remembered to load the gas bottles . At least we got away for the w/e. :)

Back over to Aldebugh again, last bank hol' there was 27 motorhomes and two caravans (inc some 'knob' who had a jenny running ALL day on the sunniest day of the year) who drives to the beach and then watches telly all day with that view!!??

A superb spot - found thanks to this site!!

bank holiday w/e

Thought I must share this with everyone we had suck a good time.

Loaded the van on Saturday afternoon and headed to Annecy which is not that far from were we live, but such a really lovely place to visit, a bit like York, the weather was great for sunbathing so found a spot right on the lake (wild camping) put the awning out got the chairs out and stayed there until the Monday what a great time we had, no trouble wild camping anywhere and wasnt too busy either, We have lived here for 2 and a half years and have never yet payed for sites we have always wild camped and never had a problem, so if anyone wants to come to the Alps and needs any info just contact me.
Hope to see you all soon
