This occured last tuesday while ambling along in the Murvi towards Bournemouth.

A young mother pushing a pram with one hand while holding a converation with her companion & holding a mobile phone in her other hand suddenly turns right on the pavement & pushed the pram into road then steps off the kerbway, all before looking up & noticing the traffic.

As all this happened about 10 feet in front of me I literally had about half a second to to jam on the brakes,blast the horn & then run to the back of the Murvi to welcome the couple from the car behind into my kitchen area.

Young mother & companion simply looked at me,bovine like, before swearing then carrying on on walking across the road between the traffic.

And if you had hit the kid, the whole planet would have come down on the dangerous van driver.:mad2:

Ha! Typical! You can't believe anything you see! Well, it certainly got a reaction from us.

I wonder if that was what my mother did to me, it could explain a few things.
