Marks on perspex windows

Hi I have got scratch marks on the windows of my lunar champ motorhome. Can anyone suggest what I can use to remove these.

Any help greatly appreciated
 
We used to polish out scratches on glass windscreens with jewellers rouge. Not sure if it works on Perspex.
 
tcut or a good rubbing compound will do it . the other thing i have used is a product from snapon . it was very good but expensive . it was ideal for perspex or vinyl windows in softtop vehicles . i use g7 or g3 cutting compound these days .

I was speaking to a dealer about the same thing, his words were use G3 with a buffer but a constant supply of water over the windows while your buffing or you will burn or melt or permanently mark the window

Try brasso but be very gentle.
 
Try WD 40 i had some scratches on my windows not very deep ones but it cleared the shallow ones, spray it on and polish hard.
 
ok here is my suggestion that has always worked for me, MER, buy it from Halfords, use it neat and rub on the scratches in a rotary motion (do not rub to hard ) then just buffer it off by hand, it also works on the body as long the scratches are not too deep.:wave::wave::wave::wave::wave::wave::wave:
 
Just done two windows on my MH today with brasso, works a treat but be careful not to rub too hard.
The liquid form with a soft cloth, not the impregnated material, it's too rough.
You may have to go over it 2 / 3 times depending on how badly scratched.
Make sure you don't get any brasso on the window seals or you will never get it off.

I have used cheap toothpaste with some success it is a very mild abrasive cheap and does not mark.

Fenwicks Windowise is purposefully made for removing scratches and available at all accessory outlets.

There is no risk of rubbing a hole in your window or hazing the clear finish, you just follow the instructions.

I'll second that - I use it. I've also used it on aircraft canopies too - works a treat. It does take a fair bit of elbow grease though.
 
When my late father was in the RAF they used to clean Perspex with a mixture of Brasso & toothpaste. He always claimed it was very effective.
 
As per my last post I decided to try it, got an old caravan window full of marks and it came up like new.
 
I'll fourth good ol' T-cut. I water it down for shallow scratches, neat for deep. Always constantly changing the direction of rubbing. Personally I wouldn't use rotary power disc, very easy to leave a little too long in one spot, besides a bit of elbow grease reminds me to be a bit more careful next time I get near a hedge.
Some toothpastes have produced comparable results.
 
Most campervan and caravan windows are made from Acrylic. Perspex and Bonoplex (and others)are trade names. At least this is how I've known the matter for 40 years, I could be wrong but it hardly matters.
You really don't need a kit, myself and doubtless other post responders have got perfect results without such a kit....honestly!
 
Toothpaste is good for silver if you need to clean them. Put some on your fore finger and rub it around with the fore finger and thumb. In a couple of minutes your silver will look lovely.
