Ha ha at the FT query.
I know little about gas fittings but are you happy you are able to put enough force on the spanner to get correct seal? Is it worth running round to a local rock ape and ask them to tighten after checking the fittings still look good? I know I have to use a length of pipe on wrenches’s or my long torque wrench to get wheel nuts tightest I can’t do it without being a feeble old git
