The normal exterior filler fitting is 70mm dia,. I have a tungsten cutter to facilitate this, which I used to cut a hole in the side of my car to fill various bottles in the boot.

I am normally in the south west Essex area & can help out if anyone wants a hole cut.

Not read the whole thread but those with safefill bottles will find this interesting

Why do they like safefill but, not a properly installed LPG tank or cylinder, it makes no sense, the filling is exactly the same in effect, except you have to remove the cylinder from the MoHo, this in itself is a risk, as it introduces wear into the connector to the MoHo.

Thanks for this. Now saved to my laptop. If'n when I find someone (Nabsim :p) clever enough to put it on my iphone, it'll be on there too.

You have fixed cylinders Del not lose ones? Anyway I would have thought you would know where all the Morrison’s ones were already :)

I know I have fixed bottles, I remember fitting them. That was the easy bit. It's this technology thing that bites my bum. Just 'cos I work for them, somebody has too, doesn't mean I know where they all are. Stop complaining, that's my (other) job. You are now my designated tech wiz. :lol-053: Just get on with it. Tick.tick. That's all I hear, never happy some people.

I put a "Thanks" on your post. Only because I couldn't find a, "Thank's a lot" Button. Remember' I'm not the one who sends texts to the wrong person:p

Is that why Tezza is still traumatized by that 'you look gorgeous in a bikini' text you sent him?

Something tells me this is going slightly off thread. I blame Nabsim, I always blame him. :mad1:

Well I think you may be better using an app to locate lpg rather than a list Del but not really looked at many yet. Prices look to vary a lot between Morrison’s as well, seen it over 60p.p.l at some of them which is a big jump from 0.557 at Anlaby Road. Beware of Google Streetview for finding where the pump is though, we drove confidently in to pump 11 at far end only to find there wasn’t anything except petrol and diesel. Quick scout round and we found it located in the first aisle between the two pedestals.

I have a Hymer which had a factory fitted gas tank in a side locker (not in the original gas locker). To fill the tank I have to open the locker and prop up the door, unscrew a brass cap and screw on an adapter. I have used Morrison’s and other fuel stations but have never had any problems with any one querying or refusing the fill up

42 litres @ 55.7p = £23.34 rounded up 42 @ 60p £25 are you really that tight :lol-053::lol-053::lol-053:
