For those heading to Orkney, cannot see any stations north of Lairg...we filled up two days ago at Tore...Alec.

Yes, my guess is that they're pulling out. Some filling stations are fitting EV chargers so are tight on forecourt space which lpg tanks use up, but EV charging isn't a good fit for petrol stations. I doubt that will last long.

Yesterday, I filled up with diesel at the cheapest* place I was passing.

Right next to the diesel pump there was an lpg pump, so I could have topped up, but the price was 89p per litre - a bit high - and I'd filled up two or three weeks ago, so the tank is still fairly full.

In winter it'd be different, but a tankful lasts a few months without much use for heating.

*Well, the second cheapest. The cheapest had a 2.7m height limit.

I heard somewhere that they were discontinuing lpg when the equipment fell due for its safety inspection. Something to do with change of ownership ,?

Someone posted last week about a brand new lpg tank being installed on 4th June at Kilmarnock Morrisons. Don't know if we have anyone that lives anywhere near it that could check if that is true or not.
