Dose anyone know when Bradford Manchester low emissions start Mr google says spring ?? .

I believe that the Manchester low emission zone has been postponed.
And not many people want to visit Bradford
There is a Bettys at Ilkley which is within the Bradford MB area and Bettys is always worth visiting. Hopefully it is outside the emissions zone.

With reference to the Bradford LEZ message ............................................... campervanannie

If you can afford to eat at Betty's, you can probably to pay the zone fee, or you could go to a different branch of Betty's

The Manchester one hasn't been postponed. It is "under review" with no new start date. If it ever happens, chances are that motorhomes and privately owned horseboxes will be exempt, but I don't think it will ever happen

The firm responsible for signage must me turning cartwheels...
Just short of £250,000 for latest sign Mods whilst old caterpillar brows back pedals....

I went through bradford in my van yesterday ,checked on web site to see if I needed to pay no link so no charge , so not implemented yet ,

I too looked on the website. Doing a Gov.Uk check, it said, van, therefore £9. Looked again on the Bradford site, in the small print. Motorhome’s are exempt. So none the wiser. I’ll wait for the bill, then see em in court.
To be honest, it’s all a bit of a dog’s breakfast.
It’ll be my first and last visit to Bradford.

Mine comes in at £50 so a weekend in Skipton is £100. I will wait for day in court armed with email's from council and MP

I also read it that you have to apply for it to be exempt?
Yes you have to fill in an application form and send phot of your vehicle docs just done mine waiting a response my car is ok so just my motorhome not that I ever go into Bradford but i live on the outskirts and just to get on the motorways 1 mile it would cost me £50 and to take the van for mot it would be £50 just to drive a couple of miles and if they keep it overnight that’s another £50 so fingers crossed I get the exemption I’ll let you know.
