Lost Steps? Driven off with your Hookup Lead Still Plugged in?

couple of months ago I did the usual walk round checking everything. sat in cab and thought all sorted. then heard a little voice in my head (actually came from the passenger seat) saying "what about the awning?".

I haven't been away since I made a set for myself but I have a couple on the wheel while parked up at home.

Ones I use are:
"EHU Lead?" (For obvious reasons revealed earlier)
"Fridge Locked?" - having a domestic fridge means I have added a lock strap. If not attached .. oops!

"Steps" I don't need as got a very loud buzzer;. "Fan Closed" don't need as my Maxxfan is designed to work when driving.

"Awning in?"... Well if you need one with that in front of you, you must be a ...... ummmmm..... slightly distracted person ;)

If anyone goes to Lidl in Crook, Co. Durham. You might find our famous black plastic steps... The ones in the photo feature..
We had stocked up before going to Kynren. Had 2 hours to spare, so had a drink and siesta.
Of course we drove off minus the steps.

I have never driven away whilst on hook-up, the only reason being I never go to campsites, if I did, no doubt I’d join this merry band.

In Spain this year I did the ultimate, I drove off leaving the levelling blocks behind!!,not many on here can admit to that, I’ll bet.

We were in Morocco when I realised they were not on board.

Once whilst digging in Orkney I lost my boots, they were muddy so I had left them under the m/home BUT WHERE? I eventually found them where I had left them 3 days earlier!
 
I once drove off with a 6 metre flagpole and spinner still attached to the rear ladders of our motorhome.

I drove off in France with the satellite dish up, it wasn't until we went through a town and saw the reflection in a window that we knew, I have seen another Motorhome with side windows wide open once
 
Can't remember how many steps I've driven over! I lost my ramps in France but no idea where as I wasn't even using them!
 
Sounds like all you people are in desperate need of the "Don't Forget" Tags :raofl:

Still trying to work out how to list on eBay with all the different variations :juggle: But if anyone wants a set, PM me the 4 different tag etchings required and if you want a different name than "don't forget" (maybe your van name or forum name?). These are £11.99 for a set of 5 (4 plus blank) on nice Birch ply, with velcro straps, metal storage box and postage within UK (post to Europe is an extra £1.50)
