Looking for spots for overnight camping in van - Weston Super Mare near Sand Bay

Hi all,

Anyone know of any spots near Sand Bay in Weston Super Mare to park up the night and camp in the van?
I know there are lots of car parks with beach access but not sure if they’re OK for wild camping. We will have the dogs with us so preferably want access to the beach (that beach specifically because it’s dog friendly).

At least one car park is National Trust with gate and a ban on overnighting. The POIs (available to full members) appear to have a couple of viable locations in that area.

We have stayed in car park near the pub hotel at end of road gate there but never had problem last time gent just shut gate but not locked

If you don't want to pay for full membership and all its information, try googling to find a nearby campsite.
I understand they are reasonably prolific and not too expensive
