Don't know if anyone can help with this (and it's difficult to explain without taking a picture of them, but I don't have digicam working and hooked up to PC at the moment), but thought it worth asking you helpful people just in case.....
The smaller (sliding) windows in the back part of my van are secured by brown plastic catches, that sort of lock into place when you push the windows shut. To open them, you have to gently push a piece on the sliding panel that protrudes inwards towards you sideways, which lifts the bit that engages up out of a groove and hence releases the window. Very effective, but not very well designed, as a couple of them have broken off (this kind of hard plastic clearly isn't designed to be continually bent!). I've searched all over the web trying to find anything that looks remotely like them, but without success.
They are a dark brown colour (though they may of course come in other colours: I don't care what I get as long as they work!), and the part affixed to the sliding panes is a little less than an inch square and looks like it's just glued on (no sign of any screws).
Any suggestions would be gratefully received
