Hi all.

I’ve done a search on Norway, both here and on Motorhomer, and I can’t find an old thread that I wanted to re-read.

We are thinking maybe Norway in the spring. A couple of years ago, maybe 3, someone wrote a fabulous account of the route he followed, describing all the stops he stayed at, with photos. I’m fairly sure there was an online map with stops marked too, probably on a blog. I’d really like to find it for starting to get some ideas.

I have looked at the Magbaz blog, and I don’t think that’s what I was thinking of (not least because the trip I’m thinking of was much more recent than theirs).

Can the collective wisdom help?

Thanks in anticipation,

Jo

There is a very good blog from Pinhaw on Motorhomer. This is a link to part 8

See

Very well presented and comprehensive

This may help.
Given the 90 day limit I would miss out Finland.
Norway is great.
Wilding in Sweden is great.
Not as expensive as perceived !

Thanks all, I’m pretty sure (after a glass of something pink) that @mid4did ’s thread and polarsteps blog were the ones I was thinking of.

However - especially thanks for the additional links because they have added a heap of other things to try to see too.

You have all been so helpful, I do appreciate it!

Norway, why not Sweden? Everything is much cheaper and not so many tolls on the roads. Not so strict quarantine rules. More motorhome stopovers.
Thank you - the trip is at the very earliest stage of planning so Sweden is definitely a consideration too.

Do both if you have the time !
We hope to do another big trip.
Northwards in Sweden to KirunA.
Then to Narvik in Norway and head south
Using the 2 Bridges is one plan !
