Lights in Hymer

Thanks for that Trev but I ordered the 5 mtr strip to put down one side.....see how I get on with that and if all good I will put another stip down the other side. I chose the warm white as I think the cool is just that...cold looking lol

I have upgraded the lights in mine by fitting an led self adhesive strip above the lockers on each side.I used cool white with a remote control on/off and dimmer switch, that way you can adjust the brightness to suit, the cool white at maximum are quite bright so I usually dim them slightly.I find the lighting a bit basic on the older Hymers so it's a good upgrade,it's also fairly cheap and easy to do.

Sounds good that, where did you get the led self adhesive strip and the remote control on/off and dimmer switch,

The remote dimmer I have used is this one 12V 8A Wireless Remote LED Light RF Dimmer Controller Control 12V 8A | eBay

The led strip is here 3528 5050 5M White 300 SMD 12V LED Flexible Strip Light Waterproof tape+Adapter | eBay

I have used the 5050 cool white which are quite bright but can be dimmed to your preference. The dimmer can be mounted out of sight in a cupboard or locker where there is a convenient 12v supply.
I've had them in the van for 18 months now with no problems.
