Levelling devices and chocks

What's with the problem of being level? We usually end up parked where we can and if its not level then we just make the most of it, although we carry a quantity of blocks if needed we don't use them to level up the MH just for the night :camper:

if your not level the fridge is not as good for keeping the beer ice cold.....

Thats changing here now David signs have been going up on some roads that lead to the beach with no motorhomes or caravans allowed.

hi ken ,some other friends living near malaga reckon there might be a blanket ban on motor homes starting afain in spain . the advice is dont stay here go to portugal . might be right then . avoid spain at all costs .

I agree with Alan go to Portugal had a really good 6 weeks there this year again, If we go away here we go inland to one of the many lakes only go to the local beach to fish as ambey is not classed as a motorhome we get away with going down these roads:)

Splendid idea, you all go to Portugal and avoid Spain, they welcome wildcampers in Portugal especially on the Algarve.

So if our little ruse works I get the Costa del Sol to myself, Alan gets the Costa Verde and Ken gets the Costa Banca. Now how do we get the Germans, Dutch and French campers into Portugal :idea-007:

Well we could put it about that many motorhomes are getting gassed here:lol-049::lol-049::dance:

hopefully their financial squeeze will start soon and keep them at home .
shame the french dutch and germans arent as tidy m,homers as the Poles and Lithuanians . nothing worse than being surrounded by germans and french throwing their rubbish around and tipping their toilets anywhere . i,m sure they wouldnt do it at home .why are they so messy in spain ?

Excellent idea Ken everybody believes that. I won't make a cheap quip re. the Germans they are particularly touchy on the subject.

good glad to hear it . i do think you think i spent alot of time in finistere . i didnt really . went to a few m,bike shows there but i prefer loirre atlantic also spent time in charante maritime . but parc regional de brierre would be my area i think . then across the river to pornic area . love it .
but i do find it all a bit cold in winter . been spoilt now ,too many winters in morocco i reckon .
but the french do change as they get to spain . even worse in morocco . turn into animals . yet can be so nice in france . its really strange .

In my experience the vast majority of wildcampers visiting Spain are responsible. I have seen examples of bad behaviour from all nationalities and probably in the same proportion, Brits are no better behaved than the rest.
I think the reason some new EU entrants may appear to be better behaved is the desire to be accepted. Familiarity breeds contempt give it time and I imagine their present good manners will level out to the norm.
