LED strip lamps won't turn off

I built my van 4 years ago and most things have worked OK over that time. It has 3 LED touch-sensitive strip lights, and yesterday one of them wouldn't turn off (v. annoying when it was bedtime!). I switched off all power for a few seconds and it still came on again. Switching off power for an hour sorted it.
Today, none of the three units will turn off. What has happened? I've tried touching with damp fingers, and while earthing myself with another hand to the van body. Nothing works except killing all power for several minutes.

Ditch them and buy normal lamps, if sealed strip type I have some here both soft and white if stuck.

My lamps have worked fine for 4 years. Three of them go wrong on the same two days so I imagine there's some external factor involved here. I'm away in Spain with limited tools. 'Ditching them' isn't n option just now.

Bad connection maybe as voltage or current to low which my stop the touch bit from working, cannot see all going at once, check the wiring and earth.

By chance have just driven through the outskirts of Valencia?
They may have been shocked, as SWMBO was, by the dress code of some woman loitering by the lorry Park.
Once a strip light, always a strip light.
