laptops kaput!

hi all,
I haven't been on much recently cos my laptop is kaput! :eek:
well I thought it was my laptop but turns out it's my adapter :(
ive pinched angies adapter at the moment so I can get online :rolleyes:
oh yes my battery is also kaput! :mad: I think I need a whole new system here
Its amazing how isolated one feels without the laptop nowadays :eek:
anyway i must catch up with reading the latest posts
I'll get a new adapter tomorrow :D

I wonder if it's just your adapter thats kaput cos if it is then it will not keep your battery charged up and your battery would soon discharge.

Hope you get it sorted soon and it does'nt cost too much:rolleyes:
 
Try ebay for a new battery and / or adaptor. Ebuyer can also be worth a look.
Whatever you do, don't go to PC World
 
Good Luck getting things sorted Sundown.
Dont realise how much you use these bloody things until they go bang :confused:
 
I got a new adapter today, cost me am arm and a leg, :mad:
and a few quid too! :(
but it was the correct one for the laptop,
not a "fits any computer" idea like you can buy on ebay
I always think its better to get the proper parts :D
