... A cautionary tale...
We have a 2 year old Knauss SunTi which we take to Scotland a lot, last trip I opened the battery bay door and it fell off in my hand... (Stainless steel hinge attached to mild steel with aluminium rivets = 'asking for it'). Fortunately I found some suitable nuts and bolts to fix it in a nearby skip. I looked at an identical vehicle of the same age and found similar corrosion going on.

I 'found' a folding gazebo in a skip which Scottish gales had folded in an unusual manner - there were too many aluminium tubes and fasteners to resist so I put it under the van for 'ron' (much to the dismay of mrs Mastodon). Imagine my smugness when it proved to be exactly what was required the very next day...
