Has anybody tried one ? Good , ok , bad please let me know only have a limited time frame to buy one before we head away , unfortunately no uk stockist so we cant try it in a shop

94 spondulics, i would sit on a tree stump first, i bought good folding highbacks from a shop closing down, £5 each. :)

Yes trev , we already have the tree stump and the toadstool, over the years we have carried chairs and recliners , our latest high back plastic chairs are free from freecycle, but are hard and uncomfortable , perfect for sitting upto a table for working or a meal but no good for relaxing watching the sunset, our old bones are saying more comfort is needed, and i can spend the money on chairs or leave it to my kids who will spend it on some crap anyway

I was lucky buying ours, they have a cup/glass holder on one of the arms, so far never used but easy stored in the van.

I am sure it will not be the case, but looking at the pictures, the back seems quite set back from the legs? just wondering if you leaned back a little more than you should if the whole lot flips backwards?

If the key criteria is comfort, I find the seats I bought last year very comfortable and considering the level of cushioning/padding they pack up pretty decently.
Got these ones here - https://amzn.to/4jxwe1U . Also bought matching foot stools - https://amzn.to/4ifPf7I - to allow a really good lounge around on them :) You are welcome to try them out for size if you like when you are here next month.

We just bought these if it’s comfort your after so comfy close your eyes and ears Trev
£129 each but we got £119 each discount for purchasing 2.

Being vertically challenged!
Most chairs dig into the back of my legs,
I have three choices when buying a chair,
Just right and comfortable,
Swinging my legs like a schoolboy,
Or needing a step ladder to get in and out,

I bought one of those chairs a while back for Bea, Costco we’re stocking them, can’t recall the exact cost, less than 100, though, at that time, they really are comfy.

But it did take up a fair area of space in the garage. I replaced it with one like mine, director type with swing up side table, both slide nicely through the underfloor side locker door. The comfy chair like your Annie, resides in the garden.

Don’t wear camo gear when you are sitting on your chair, someone may sit on your knee 😳🫢

I recently viewed a YouTube clip where a lone off grid camper was using the Kilo chair, along with other kilo goods, chair looks the biz, great buy if storage is tight.

Simple just dig 4 holes for the legs, about 6 inches deep should work. 😂
First time i was up a ladder i was down a well.

Just picked up one of these today:

I'll try it tomorrow and let you know my opinion.
Looks well made and reasonably light. Very quick to open up for use, and folds easily to return to its carrying sleeve.

On the comfort side there's room for improvement. I'm 5'11" and the taut front edge of the seat is uncomfortable under my thighs. Add a cushion and it's fine.

A cushion behind your back also improves comfort but it's not essential.

A qualified thumbs up.
