Been absolutely fabulous high up in the Alps today. UK needs to get some proper mountains if you want to stay cool.

Max about 25c where we are this afternoon, just over 20c at the top of the col we did and a lovely 12c overnight. Thats between 3700 and 5500 ft though.

I've discovered if I open the living room window, which is north facing and the conservatory doors which are South facing, we get a draught right through the house which cool air.
Air-conditioning sorted.

Our burn is spring fed so always has a wee flow. We’ve put a lot of work into clearing and tidying thins up. We’ve took bucket loads of metal and glass out of it. Some interesting finds too. View attachment 144474
