Hi Folks, Please can any tell me if they have fitted one of these in there camper, Kampa Roast Master Oven, Portable Camping Gas Oven, Brand New. it says for out side cooking but that said you could use may cookers for out side that get used inside, but just wondering if any ones fitted one and if its ok, Thanks for any replies. Jo

Yes I have one we have not fitted it but it was semi fitted when we had our VW now we have a bigger self build we take it with us and use it inside and outside there is a member on here who has fitted one as I remember seeing the photos this summer sorry can't remember their name.

Reviews are all very good, having said that it says for outdoor use only, I suppose its all about the ventilation you give it.

All the adverts I have seen say it is designed to be used outdoors, I would suspect that the available fitting for connecting a gas supply is designed for the use of a rubber gas hose via a regulator, if it cannot be changed to a fitting that allows connection by copper pipe pretty sure it will not meet the safety standards required for fitting within a vehicle.

Hi folks thanks for the replies, its so strange that you can put most sorts in the vans but this one saying outside only, anyway thanks guys :wave:

Most of the time this is due to the fitting on the rear of the appliances being only suitable for a hose connection, to use any appliance within the vehicle it should be fitted using copper tubing and brass fittings, there is also the possibility that they don't meet the specifications re CO levels etc.
