Sadly I have to report that when my father in law went into a care home he decided to stop drinking beer as he was wheelchair bound and t was too much hassle to be going to the toilet regularly.

What makes it extra sad is that he was a John Smith's drinker...and now I've got a crate of the bloody stuff as he didn't want it anymore!

I'm loathed to pour it away but the alternative - drinking it - doesn't bear much thinking about either!

Strangely enough it was talking about that pair yesterday but I thought it was Jen n Tracy. I was explaining about the militant also from Vis I met the other week to a mate when heading to a brewery to work, she and asked where my parking permit was. I explained i did not have one and was the first time I've been asked for one. After assessing I was only there for the day she said you can park there for the day then ( directly in front of the brewery hard agains tthe empty kegs) i said "good girl thank you" she then asked what did you say i repeated myself, then "it" kicked off how fkn dare you address me like that and set of on a tyrant of abuse. I stopped her and assured her I could swear better than than so walk on, freekin wokes!
 
Im on the last keg of IPA, that'll give the Stout time to marry the flavours together.

Did I ever tell you (of course I did) about when I was a teenager before college when I had a summer job on a community task force and we went round doing old peoples gardens? I had a Ford Escort van and we used that to go to the various "Gigs" and we turfed up at this old fellas house who brewed his own stout. He was lonely I reckon and enjoyed our company. There was three of us and it should have taken one afternoon to sort his garden but he invited us in to try his home brew. We sat there for hours and got sh*t faced. I don't drink stout but it was free and was absolutely lovely. We eked it out for three days and I had to get the bus home. :ROFLMAO:
 
Will you stop putting photos of glasses of beer on ,because when i see them i`m reaching for another bottle.😁
