I found an interesting article on youtube about brewing. Carton of fruit juice half a cup of sugar and a teaspoon of yeast ,the bloke had 4 cartons going and after 14 days he was testing them ,a double shot of each ,by the end he was slurring his words. So i went to asda bought pure orange juice, apple juice and cranberry juice and yeast. Total cost £7. I`ll let you know.
That reminds me of a small brewery I was doing work for, he was fair chuffed with his cider prompting me to try some. I asked where he sourced his apples , his response was locally, this was in July. Found out later he purchased the gallon bottles of apple juice from aldi/lidle.

One word of caution if you do start making cider make sure the vessels are 316 stainless, I built a brewery for a crowd who purchased old vessels from a company that brewed cider and the acid from the apples had eroded the 304 stainless in places.

Just bottled 40pints of ruby porter and made 30pints alcoholic ginger beer.🤤
I've just about got through half of that today. (Joking) sounds up to 11 though, Mary doll in Belfast for a hen doo so sounds been blaring all day with no interference of TURN THAT DOWN!
