Saw this massive motorhome at a pub in Hixon yesterday! Probably not ideal for wild camping!

My Word !.That does look long doesn't it ?.
Still if it suits the owner for what they want it for,!.
How long did you think that beast actually is !.

Lol lol
Hey, it's NOT about the size,,,It's how you use it !.

When you think about it, I suppose it's no different from driving a Coach or Bus,,,& look at where they can get in & out of !.

Yeah, I've seen a few of these 5th wheel type monster rigs, it's the kinda thing you see at Race meetings !. The big advantage is ofcourse you have got the Pickup to drive about in once it's detached, but in my view it's certainly best suited to sites, America or Wide straight open roads Australia, Africa. I would imagine they are VERY Luxurious inside though !.

It wouldn't do for me I'm afraid, the very thought of taking a monster like that on the road fills me with dread.:scared:

I would find it restrictive and wouldn't be able to go to the places I like to go and would find it a burden for me personally, good job we are all different.

Yeah, I'm with you on that !.
Much rather put some thought into what is actually Practical for your choice of lifestyle & intended cruising grounds. But if Monster Rigs suit then fair play lol.

Your perceptions are clouded by living in a very small country. That is just a normal motorhome anywhere else, but I'll agree it is a bit out of its natural element there..
Here looks more in proportion

The one my ex and I had back in the US was a 31 foot with two pull outs, it was great there but I can't imagine driving it in the UK or keeping it on the road, had a V12 in it. Now I drive a Elgrande and I am just as happy, actually probable more actually as it doesn't take me all day to clean, lol....
