Chatting to a motor homer last night, he has one fitted says it increases power and a fuel economy on a diesel, has anyone got one or looked into it?
+40% Power
+35% Torque
-20% Fuel
:wacko::wacko::wacko::wacko:
Looks a bit to good to be true.:idea:
And all achieved by electronically increasing fuel pressure? So why don't the engine makers do it in the first place then?

If anyone claims to give you a fair bit more fuel economy then they are telling porkies.
However, you can get better economy with a chipped engine but nothing like the claims made by sellers or most manufacturers.
I have a Tunit box fitted to my van and I get marginally better fuel economy. The reason being that it has more Horse Power and I can get up through the gears quicker. I can also maintain a higher gear for longer and both of these things give me a little better economy.
If I used the extra power to drive faster then I would be worse off. The drag of a very un-aerodynamic vehicle rises as the square of the forward speed of the vehicle. Faster speed means higher revs and this also is less economical for a diesel engine.
Hi All,
What if it blows your engine? Any back up? No such thing as a free lunch,Ask Fiat or what ever rig you run if it's OK.

well you got something fitted to your van you dont know what is it and did martin push that switch that was found at st day
Back to the box, I suppose it rather depends, like many things, whether the return would cover the investment!
well you have a black box fitted to yours and the switch is under the gear stick well not sure what is was grumpy two had look also
