Is overnighting tolerated in john o'groats

Thought I'd add in my experience of the above POI which is a stones throw from John'O'Grotes...
Great level little Car Park leading to the forest, secluded (no signal > no interuptions) and perfect walks for the Doogles. From memory Im sure it's the community that looked after the walkways and querky attractions throughout the forest.
Hope you enjoy what ever the reason that took you there.

The last time we were there both that small car park and the one over the road had no overnight parking signs.
For many years we used to used to stay overnight in the car park on the sea side of the road even after the danger radioactive signs went up then the signs went up and we only use fora tea break now. The one across by the forest is bad for midges.
