As far as Supermarket parking in a longer vehicle than your use too is concerned.
Just consider altering your body clock to go shopping in the more Quieter times .
My current vehicle ‘MO’ Currently 3years as Fulltime Livaboard is only 7.3mt long. But my last two Tag Axel vehicles wher ‘The Nest’ 9.7mt 7years as a Fulltime Livaboard, & ‘Boxy’ 8.5mt 4years as a Full time Livaboard, Before them I had ‘Luis’ 7.5mt Fulltime Livaboard.
So you will get use to the symbiotic relationship with your chosen wheeled home.
I reversed my 6m, short overhang MH over a grassy area at Sainsbury's, Stockton on Tees en route to the Hebrides. Unfortunately, when I moved forwards it transpired that the grass was a knoll and the rear valence was pulled off
Fortunately my brother lived just a couple of miles away and we were able to fasten it back on with some bolts through the ski-locker.
Then we had to visit a doctor in Lochmaddy and I reversed over a grassy bank: YES, off came the valence again and I realised that I needed longer, thicker bolts which were difficult to source. I started carrying many more spares and a battery-driven drill.
It’s funny because JUST YESTERDAY I reversed into a woodland park up I used a few times over the years & a Small branch marked a line (not quite a gouge but a Permanent mark) horizontally all the way down one side of the Hab Box area including going across the centre of BOTH windows
I’ll try again…I think from the chocolate references not everyone got it the first time
As the threads now gone even more off topic my comment was, it should be too not to!
