anyone know where Cool jules is lately, he's not replying to emails?

he lives round corner from me, i usually see him in park with the dogs but not seen him since NYE, maybe his GF has done him in? or someone else has lol
 
Funny I was going to post that CJ is quiet these days too.....I hope he's not ill and just off line.
 
well i hope he's ok,he may have been wrong,i dont know,wasn't there,but he stuck to his guns and i can't fault that
 
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and CJ obviously didn't have a great experience that evening and I guess his GF was a bit nervous too and not really enjoying it either, so he might not have been having a good hair day.....sounds like a simple clash of personalities with the landlady and perhaps with some of you older hands too...I've only met a few of you...there's no guarantee I'm going to get along with everyone either lol....perhaps we could cut him a bit of slack for this meet and hope we see him get along better at the next one?

No, you wasn't there and you wasn't personally insulted either, i'm sorry but i have no time for people who call people horrible names, insult people and stand and make racist and sexist comments in a public place. i have no sympathy for the man, i have for his girlfriend because she is very nice but not him, he offended me and my friends and i dont want to associate myself with a biggoted idiot like that.

Yes they are, but you wasn't there, there is a lot of things that have not been said on here, and i am not prepard to put them here on a public forum, theres alot more than a clash of personalities,its nothing to do with that, thats only how he has potrayed it, anyway, you have your opinion, i was there, i have mine and i wont be ever socialising with that man again.
 
That's very true Kimbowbill I wasn't there....that was the way I perceived it from reading the posts....I know some were deleted so I didn't see those, and yes you're right a public forum isn't the place to make personal comments....my perception of CJ is that he's neither all sugar or all s**te but what I would term a sometimes funny, sometimes, rude, and certainly an outspoken character....I find him interesting, sometimes annoying, and frankly at times unpredictably amusing....I enjoy his posts and wonder when I log in what he has been up to today lol....

As for socialising...who knows if CJ and I will gel either when we meet....but I've an idea of what to expect lol!....

Yes, funny series of videos....it gives you a great insight into what to expect when you finally meet him.
 
Well (luckily for you lot) I haven't met any of you, so it would be unfair of me to comment..... but I have learned to respect the opinions that you all have. As Kimbowbill rightly says, maybe you needed to actually be there to judge things properly.

I still have a theory that someone has decided to play safe and leave CJ tethered outside a pub, and then unfortunately forgotten about him!
 
Well as I said not everyone is going to get along....but I hope a disagreement isn't going to put him off coming to another meet as I'd like to meet him....besides....you could probably guarantee at least he wouldn't be boring....lol.
 
The thing is, on NY he was suffering as the weather was crap, damp and cold probably not good for his back, and his GF was not enjoying it either. I think he was just being sexist to wind people up, but he was quite rude to Jen, and he did cross a few lines. Also, I disagreed strongly with what he said about the pub and the staff, but I don't bear grudges and it wouldn't stop me buying him a beer should we meet again :D
 
As I have said there is a select few who really knows what went off, there was also other things that happened that only me knows about and I have spoke to Phil about and i am not prepared to share that on here to save face.

I'm sure all your paths will meet and i'm sure you will get on with him, i did before this meet, even tho he made a fool of himself at Farndon but twas only of himself, that doesn't bother me, in fact, he can be very entertaining, however, i will not tolerate it when others are insulted on their race, sex or weight, enough said.

I see there have been a few polls on here recently. I wonder if we could add a facility to hold a trial on this website??

(BTW, I'm assuming that you are all wise enough not to take any of my comments too seriously?? I would be genuinely concerned to think that I'd upset or offended anyone).
