Irish Ferry

I have to work out if its worth my while financially to drive 150 miles south from Donegal to Dublin then drive 230 miles from Liverpool to Scotland rather than go on Belfast-stranraer ferry....

I think I may have answered by own question here.......

Cairnrian/larne is ok but why not do the one trucker boat as you will be just outside newry, donegall is fantastic if like me you love the wild.

Stansky on here has used it and was with me just a while back and said its just fine.

It's true you get a cabin and two meals with the ticket. I just found a group on Facebook, it's a new group as they only updated it last week. Post them a message if you not sure? I just liked the group and I can post comments. It's called Seatruck Ferries Passenger Services.

I just booked a ferry from Pembroke to Rosslare in May for £71.50 - which I thought was rather good.. it is in the middle of the night and I booked it via the caravan club who get a discount for CC members from stenna line -

I then booked on Seatruck to come back Warrenpoint to heysham for £119 - you get a bed and a meal included in this price

so a saving of £90 on last years price when I used Irish Ferries

that's two tanks of fuel I can buy !! I am one chuffed bunny .....

I will let you know what it was all like in the autumn when I get back

If you want any pointers where to go give me a bell when you arrive, and if close call in or are family will meet you if local, only if you wish of course but do enjoy the countryside.
