Ireland quarantine for British visitors

We are waiting to go to see daughter and grandchildren. It is possible that there will be a review towards the end of this month.

Wonder how this family got on with their trip

There are folk from you name it wandering back and forth here,no one is fussed as its just hot air, just give me bank details and ill sort it,PS no rattle money.

I think it is simply a case that Ireland (south) has a slightly different timetable than other countries (look at the diverse paths taken within the UK). I believe they anticipate a ‘green’ list around the 20th.
However all jurisdictions have their loopholes and cockups. The main topic on Irish radio news and current affairs programmes today, causing much consternation, is that they currently permit free arrivals from the USA. They are the only EU country permitting arrivals from America.

It's no longer making headlines on the beeb and governmets don't know what to do.
It's entered the phase of crack on and lets see what happens either now or in two weeks time.
Dublin here welcome from Arizona.

Decided to book the ferry for a couple of weeks time, always entertaining as I find Irish ferries very welcoming with open palms. It is not much more expensive to go from Rosslare to France than from Rosslare to Pembroke. It makes Brittany ferries look cheap! Can’t wait any longer to see the family, we are virtually self isolating anyway here and in the van. I know the Liverpool crossing is better value but it’s just such a dreary drive from the south coast. Anyway we will see how it evolves!
