Talk about creating a blind spot.

I use an iPad Pro on the same mount - there is no blind spot for me.

I used my iPad mini with a dashboard mount for navigation for several years. It was a very good arrangement. I only stopped using it because I now have a double din radio with Apple CarPlay (and Android Auto) which is even better because it integrates everything on one, touch screen.

Thanks ..Not being critical but that explains my preference for a GPS unit which comes with a ready mount !

I agree but you can't compare a satnav mount to a RAM Mount, they're like chalk and cheese but everything is on a need basis, if you don't need the versatility of the RAM system then it's pretty pointless investing in it but on a motorbike it has no equal, proven by the fact that it is the mount system used by both Garmin and Tom Tom for their motorbike satnavs

You should not be looking at a gps when driving, thats what wives are for as they know everything.
