inverter ???

i have an inverter in my system that has worked perfectly fotr last 18 months 4000 w pure sine wave ran the usual toasters hair dryers etc and also with my hybrid system ran the fridge freezer from the batteries for up to 12 hrs a day , thought i’d cracked it & got a great system only to find today i turned the remote on and didnt hear the fans cut in no power at the plug ext & when i accessed the inverter showing 165 input 0 output checked the 4 x 40external fuses all appear good going to disconnect it & remove cover to check if there are any internal fuses after that might have to purchase a new one very convenient four days into a 6 week trip lol,
ps it’s an e bay purchase £70 so no surprise other than it working perfectly for 18 months

At £70 for a 4000W PSW inverter, I'm surprised it even turned up in the first place let alone worked for 18 months!!!

someone who with more electric knowledge than me ( pretty much anyone ) has tested it and a capacitor has gone .so definitely kaput , still can’t afford a victron one the renology at £320 for a 3000/6000 looks like my next purchase
