Inverter wiring

Is that 3000W peak, or 3000W constant Andy?

Don't know about Andy's but my Renogy 2000W is 2000W constant and 4000W peak.

I paid £180 when it was last on offer. I haven't used it yet but I've heard good things about them (and a few bad regarding customer service).

I think they are decent Inverters, but inverters are probably the most problematic of any electrics in a Motorhome so having a good route to service is important.
Victrons support is really down to the dealer you get the kit from - they are the ones who sort out the problems and get the swaps sorted. With Victron kit I have bought I have generally got new parts sorted out without having to send the faulty parts back for testing or even swapout and been hassle-free. How much value should you put on that?

I quite agree and I haven't yet decided whether my Renogy will end up in the van or the cabin in the garden. We're still looking into what our consumption is going to be and if we think we've underestimated I will be getting a second 300AH Fogstar and a Victron 3KW inverter for the van.

FWIW, I usually get my Victron kit from Alpha Batteries. I've found their Customer Service excellent on the Victron stuff just as much as their traditional Battery kit.
