Another vote for external screens. I started with internals but couldn't tolerate all the condensation they caused, whereas there's no condensation at all with externals.
Having said all that, external screens have a much heftier price tag

Have to agree external far superior to internals. I actually still carry my internals for the rare occasion that the wind makes it nigh on impossible to fit the externals. Only used them twice last year out of 87 nights out on my travels.

If you like condensation go internal , if you like warm and dry go external the difference massive ,

Well I have internal ones and am very pleased with them. Each has its own points. Look at ”vancomfort”, I have the Kantop

i also have internal ones. i have very limited storage. Also i have nowhere i can store dripping wet external ones - if they are drying in the van then surely its the same as getting condensation from internal ones?

i rarely get condensation but i do put towelling strips along the base of the windscreen to mop up any excess moisture. That rarely happens.

External. If they are wet, a quick shake is enough to put them away.

Internal blinds are nearly as useful as a chocolate fire guard :hammer:

my internal blinds make a SIGNIFICANT difference to the temperature inside my van cab. Together with these blinds and really thick thermal curtains between cab and hab my van is very cosy in the cold evenings.

much better than a choccie t--pot!!

Ours is a converted mini bus/ambulance and we made internal screens for the side and back windows. We used the foil/bubble insulation doubled and edged with binding; the suckers are available on fleabay.

External. If they are wet, a quick shake is enough to put them away.

I wipe my Taylormade external screens dry with a chamois leather that I keep in a zip lock bag, the screen rolls up into it's own bag, job done.

External screens for us, if wet wipe the best you can then roll / fold and put back into bag. Stand bag upside down in toilet over the shower drain / plug hole.

First opportunity take out screens of bag and dry, turn bag inside out and hang over wing mirror to dry as well.

I've got some, yours for £40
I'm in Burton On Trent you are welcome to try them first cause not sure if they will fit your van, mine is a 2006 Boxer

Same for us, I had some external ones and got fed up with them and for wildcamping the external ones make a quick getaway without confrontation more difficult.

External screens don't absorb moisture - it just runs off - so a quick wipe with kitchen towel before taking them off will take care of any stray drops of water. I don't even bother with the bag these days.... just fold them in on themselves to remove and shove them up in the overhead. I know internals don't absorb moisture either but it was always a longer task to mop up all the condensation. I guess if you plan ahead and take the internals off in the morning, then much of the condensation would evaporate by the time you move off. I've still got the internals but tend just to pull the curtains around the cab if I'm only stopping one night anywhere.

I'd offer mine to 2CRAZYCAMPERS but they're a bit worn now because I've been using them as a nice slick base to slide my rolled up mattress topper in and out of the overhead Embarrassed.gif

We use internal screens on ours and a quick going over the windscreen in the morning with a Karcher window vac and your ready to go
