roller blinds

Hi Polly sorry to see the blinds gone haywire
has it ripped or has it un rolled itself?
That wont make much sense yet but you can repair these, the material is usually turned back over itself then stitched or glued in place and a stiffener rod of small diameter plastic insirted, this is then fed along the ali bottom piece.
It isnt easy to do and you will have to remove blind from van to do job, sorry havent got any pics to explain any better, just thought make sure you wedge the top very spring loaded roller so it doesnt roll itself up while you work on it
hope this makes sense

Well I am having problems again:mad::mad: I am using my dongle as I can’t seem to get on to the internet by any other means either at home or work so I will have to take the laptop in again or hope someone at work can sort it before it goes through the window.

Anyway my blinds I have sorted them :D:D:D
Firstly I unscrewed the wooden curtain pelmet, then unscrewed the arms of the blinds then unscrewed the casing of the blinds.
Then took it indoors where I cut of the bottom beading bit then glued the beading onto the bottom of the blind, then rethreaded it into the metal pull down bit, and just for good measure added elephant tape.
Then took it back and reassembled it.

:eek:Then did the same to the other window blind. All seems ok
Oh forgot to mention it should read we not I as my brother in law gave his assistance.

Good to see you're all sorted Polly
Hope you found it easier to do than it is to type out without pictures
