I notice that quite a few people seem to be going abroad for long periods of time. My insurance is due and am find it difficult to get more than 90 days abroad in any one period of 12 months or can get unlimited travel 12 months but can only go for 60 days away but have to come back and then go out the next day (if I want to). Any advice ?
:hammer:

Try MCIA(Lifesure Group), Caravan Club etc. Quite a few do unlimited EU cover, 365 days.

Safguard unlimited travel in europe, and there breakdown cover is with the AA and we found it very good, when we brokedown they even sent an interpreter with the taxi to take us to the hotel that they had booked for us, and the same on return journey to pic the van up :drive: :drive:

We too have taken out our insurance with Safeguard.
We both retired last week & are off travelling on 6th May to France.
Safeguard seemed the best for long term travel.

Ditto with Safeguard - 12 months cover with breakdown recovery and the provision of a driver to bring the van home if you become incapacitated. Have a good trip.

Safeguard will not cover you if you decide to work.

Nfu mutual offer 12 month cover and were cheaper
