Read your Insurance Policy carefully and be sure you have enough cover for a replacement windscreen I noticed on my old Policy for the Hymer I have just exchanged that Windscreen cover was for £3000 ,I did have a new screen fitted once with no trouble just a £75 excess, but I don't think £3000 would cover the cost to replace some Windscreen. So I think it worth checking if yours is in fact covered adequately.
