Thanks, they quoted £540 compared to AIB £450 so I’ll keep looking, the C&CCC site requires a DOB to be inserted by clicking back from today,that would require 77x12 clicks or about 900 so I’m calling time on that one.

The DOB issue sounds strange. I'm not looking for insurance at the moment, so I'm not going all through the moho details to get at the personal details page, but if you can't type the date in (as you can for vehicle purchase) doesn't it have a dropdown next to the month and year brought up by the calendar? For the vehicle purchase, that dropdown not only enables you to select a month but also lets you scroll through the years (using a computer - don't know about a mobile device).
