insulation ratings

Having just traded-in our small coach built for a van conversion I have become aware that not all vans are well insulated. I have found some posts that refer to class 3 insulation (not sure if that is good or bad). Is there a list somewhere that would let me look up the the insulation levels of second hand vans before buying.
Alternatively can existing owners of 2000 to 2015 pvc's give an opinion on how good their insulation is.

Any advice will be welcome.
