increase in wild camping

On Scotland's West Coast Jackie.
Just Google it and you will find it no problem.
There is a private car park there where the owner (Duncan) charges 50p to park during the day.
I arrived there just as he was going home and I asked him if it was OK to overnight. We settled on a price of £3 and although there are no facilities, I still thought it was well worth it.
He relies on people's honesty in putting the money through a letterbox in his shed on the car park.
We had a campfire on the Beach and sat there enjoying a wee dram or 2 or 3 or....................
Lovely quiet night and the weather was absolutely gorgeous.

Thanks New Rover, I will look for it on the map, and mark it.
I do sincerely hope that fellow motohomers do use the 'honesty boxes'. For the sake of a couple of quid, it could make the difference of keeping, or losing these little gems.
Jackie;)
