Important - First Aid Kit

At my place of work H&S gave us advice on what to keep in the first aid kit. You can't administer drugs unless you're a doctor, you can't apply dreams in case of allergy and all plasters out of date should be discarded. So, someone emptied it out and left the following note - If you're not too bad go back to work, if it's worse go home or if you're unconscious dial 999

Just yesterday i put a first aid kit in the van after 5 months of ownership.
Should have known better as our neighbour had a very serious leg wound last year falling over a small picket fence.
Hopefully this one will never be needed.

Is that when you get a nightmare?:scared:

My van has enough stuff in to stock a small chemists.

Bandages, plasters, tape, dressings, ointments, sprays. Only thing I don't have is anaesthetic. If i'm on a meet I could always Nick Annie's voddy. :lol-049:

Many a true word, spoken in jest...

If my horrendous accident and it's joke filled aftermath, has raised awareness of first aid issues , that's good news.
If it prevents future problems, that's a bonus.

elf and safety for elf and safety in the workplace seems rife , I do believe people can have allergies to plasters and the person administering the first aid could have allergy to latex gloves, It does seem a bit of a nightmare.

Channa

PS for lost digits does it matter if the milk is pasteurised and semi skimmed ? before they attempt to sew it back on ?

Proclivities, Collette ?
I can't afford them at my age and infirmity.
I'm going to have another attempt at training the Child Bride to empty the Thunderbox, though I doubt it. I've been trying for 19 years, without any progress.
