Imitation Turf

A shower spray with a trigger with the hose passed out of the bathroom window works for our DIY external shower cubicle and would work perfectly for a dog too. Only downside is using up stored water but any form of washing be that wellies filled with water or the 5 litre spray jobbie is going to mean carrying and replenishing water and the trigger really keeps water use down.

We got rugs from Dunelm which look just like the hugs ones. Have them in the van and in the doorway to holiday home. Come in several sizes and really wash well, absorb a fair bit of liquid too...I dropped a 2 ltr bottle of water in the van and the mat was wringing wet but contained!
Use a 12v shower in Portugal powered by solar, dropped into bucket of water (heated for us of course!) Very cheap when we got it, but loads of fancier versions around now....similar to this
