I'm tentively looking around for possibilities for our next van.

I'm wrong actually Julian, apparently they are made by Walkers and not Taylors. (who also make award winning Pies apparently).

I did wonder. Taylors are quite a big pie outfit in Darlington and you find their pies in shops and other butchers all over Durham County and the top of North Yorkshire but I don't think they got much further than that.

Yeah plus the Tesco finest ones get terrible reviews as well.

You will just have to ride / drive all the way up to Darlo or better still Richmond to try one Rob. I feel however I have oversold it. Its just a cheap Pie at the end of the day but a bloody good one. If it doesn't satisfy you enough you can then ride / drive up to Middleton In Teesdale for Britains best pie in all of the world Pie. :D (True dat). They are a fiver each though but worth it. Lamb and mint was the one that won the best Pie award I believe.

I don't eat Pies of course being a now "thin" rock star type.

I'd also have to stop at Tebay Services farm shop Barry as they do the best Sausage and Bacon Rolls ever.

Yeah, then go to Cranstons, Booths and Graham and sons Deli in Penrith before heading to Middleton in Teesdale for the award winning Pie and finally a Taylors Pie in Richmond. If your still alive, I'll meet you for some pints.

In that case I'd of thought a P.P. challenge of both would be in order, hot then cold, so four each, I'm a lightweight and probably stumble halfway through the second
