I would normally agree if anybody else said it but trevskoda is dyslexic and makes fun of his own spelling all the time so it would not have been said to belittle anybody

I heard that Trev went to a school for backward boys and forward girls.

Lucky sod. :mad1:

anyone want to criticese my spelling feel free to doso but first of all read the whos awake thread from the start and tell me how many speeling mistake ihave mad e and how much bad grammer there is if you wish to do this then iwll know how bad my spellings is

So glad you posted this. Trevskoda's pithy replies normally cause me to smile but I did think ouch when reading his comment above. Take a bow tezza as you have just illustrated that contrary to current threads this forum isn't just about people insulting and abusing each other.

Graham
It must take a certain amount of balls to post comments when the written word doesn't come easily. Generally I'm much more interested in ideas or honestly held beliefs rather than what the words are and I'm sure most forum members are the same.
I've tried to write this three times and I can't do it in a way that doesn't appear patronising if someone wants to read it that way. Then had the idea to stop trying, maybe we all need the grace of people who can read the sentiment though the words at times.
I do actually mean this it's just that kin hell it doesn't half sound smarmy.

Not everyone knows he is dyslexic, and could easy take offence to the comment,
Iam also dyslexic but would never make fun out of anyone's spelling even if it was only a "joke"

I often wonder how my posts are going to come across, but I usually think, oh just put it anyway, and if somebody doesn't like it you can explain/apologise later. Forums are all about getting to know people, albeit, sometimes only online, unless you attend the meets. Trev's post made me laugh, because I know what to expect from him, but if anybody took offence, somebody will always come along and explain the circumstances, as happened here with Tezza33.

By the way, your post doesn't sound patronising. (I hope that doesn't sound patronising).

And welcome to the forum Graham!

Don't be daft Graham. Stick around and don't be put off.

You will be hard pushed to find a better forum than this.

A few members have problems with spelling but we always know what they are writing. We all have strengths and weaknesses and spelling is not exactly one of the most important ones.

Graham, please do not leave the forum. Difficulty with spelling does not mean that you are stupid. My son is dyslexic, spelling is a problem, but he runs a very successful plumbing business.
I am sure that you can contribute in a positive way to threads on the forum and you should not feel restricted in doing so just because of spelling.

Stay Graham

Don't take any notice of this lot Graham, it's the going immediately off topic that was the problem with this thread.
NOT THE SPELLING.
Thanks for the info.

ditto .you need to stay ,all this about your spelling is just banter ,no harm meant .i thing most on here if it wasent for the spell check would make a few mistakes in there spelling .even the so callep perfect ones on here that love to glory in there spelling and punctuation ,often get it wrong

Hi Graham,
This site is not full of Shakespeares or Dickens, but motorhomers who have a contribution to make simiilar to yours, stay and contribute.
You have other skills, like my youngest daughter who is also dyslexic, she is a qualified goldsmith and chef! And works as a manager of a high street jewellers and is one of their top sales people, she has superb people skills.
