Any recommendations to what it is the best course of action when the tyre wheel lock is jammed up inside underneath the motorhome and i can't reverse or move forward to free it? Doubt it's covered under insurance? Stupidly I forgot to take it off before pulling away...

This is one reason I have a check list (good enough for Jumbo Jet pilot so good enough for me!) which we read out loud before setting off.

Picture would help us to understand the problem.

Try jacking the van up (using the chassis not the axle) and seeing if the extra clearance means you can unlock and remove.

Otherwise I think a battery powered angle grinder and a new lock may be the only solution.

Do as r4dent recommends, then if that fails you need to call a recovery company or get a disc cutter.

Most importantly don’t drive without making sure the vans safe.

The advantage with a Disklok is 2 fold

1. As long as you keep the blinds closed the thief won’t be expecting another barrier to getting away.
2. They can be cut off, but they do take time, and an alarm sound be sounding at that point.

I made a pedal lock, no mission of driving away and forgetting it.

I've had one MH nicked and an attempted theft of our current van too. The attempt left the van with damage to the underside of the door handle, they were about to pull the steering lock when I disturbed them otherwise I'd have had the expense of replacing that too. They'd have never got away with the van because of the outsmart the thief immobilizer and tracker but the damage caused by the attempt has now made me take a different view and rather than conceal the security I openly advertised it . There's ' tracker and immobiliser signage, a perfectly visible Disklock and I also spin the drivers seat and push it up against the steering wheel to give the appearance that the seat is locked in that position. Since then my outdoor security has detected a couple of scrotes taking a look at the van but leaving without even attempting to steal it so no damage.
I PERSONALLY think it's better to make the scum move onto someone else's van rather than inflict damage on mine.

Yes,better too advertise a theft deterrent than not.,
No point in a pedal lock if they break in damaging your doors only too find the pedals locked...
And then walk off leaving you with the damage too repair.
You want them too walk past yours and onto an easier target...

How annoying for you,
Hopefully there’s no vehicle damage, However as already mentioned, Check it thoroughly before moving off 👍
Maybe consider putting a little label on your Dash in front of the Speedo as a reminder 🤷🏻‍♂️

Isn’t it ridiculous that we have to take such actions to make our property harder to steal, & we have to even pay to put right the damages caused but these ‘People’ 😡.
Annoying & a sad state 😔

Talking of reminder signs. Car has auto (no brain needed) handbrake. Van obviously not. After three scary moments exiting the van that then began to roll, I now have a red HANDBRAKE sign clearly visible as I leave. (Just near my right knee and the ignition key ...)
One benefit of the often cussed door-side handbrake, and I know from experience, that at least you can yank it on after you've stepped out if the van starts to move. 😲

Which is why "Handbrake"; "In gear" and "Wheel chocks" are on my "Setting up" check list.

The religion in my passport says "Coward (Orthodox) " !
