I've just looked at the V5 for the van and noticed there is an "O" missing from my surname. I've only had the thing for eight years and now that it's been returned to them for alteration I expect to pay the price of my admission.

Unfortunately we are having resident parking zones in the area. I will soon have to pay the Council £120 a year to be able to park the van in the general area of my home between 5.30pm and 7.30pm. In order to do this they want to see the V5 and I suspect they will throw a wobbly if the name doesn't match the proof of identity they also want

I thought it was still in primer given the lack of shine. That’s got to be a Skoda Estelle colour?

Not according to the instructions, but a fourth owner on a 1995 vehicle isn't too bad. If it reduces its value by 50% it wouldn't be the end of the world because 50% of nothing isn't a lot.

I wouldn't bother, Trev. It's in the eye of the beholder.

With all the fancy names they come up with for paint they are never registered as such by the DVLA, but always under the basic primary colour in any case.

If challenged any time just tell them the shade was 'antique cream', or some such rubbish

No industrial two pack poly,could do with one more coat but i dont care any more it goes and works well.
