Although I am quickly losing my marbles, the basics of my motorcycle B tec qualifications and distant experience are still there, hopefully, so that should not present much of a problem, but my original question was; Anyone with any experience of these? are they any good?

Not the 2Kw model Peter but I have been using the HY1000Si now for I think three years. Mine has been excellent and it gets used quite a lot each winter, think I am on over 500hrs running now with just an oil change. Only thing that’s gone wrong is I had to get a new pull cord, this was my fault though as I start it at an angle instead of straight pull.

No way on earth would I pay the extra for a Honda but that’s me. Check you are ok with the weight of it Peter, I really want a 2Kw but it’s a bit on the heavy side for me lugging it around, not that it is any heavier than any other make just me a weed

That’s why I carry a Honda i10 instead of the i20 which stays at home.
