Hi, any help much appreciated. I have a 2001 hymer 564. All the water system has stopped working. The taps, shower and toilet flush. It is an electrical problem, the fuse is fine but no power going to pump. After taking a live wire to pump it works but there must be a connection some where maybe the hymer electrical box that’s not working. It was fine yesterday morning but went to use it later in the morning and just not working

When you open each tap, can you hear a slight click to indicate the microswitch is working

Yes I can hear the micro switches clicking but no electrics to the taps. We checked it with a volt meter

There is a connection on top of the tank where the pipes and cables go in for the pump but I don't know any other, have you checked the fuse with a meter or are you relying on the fact that it looks OK?, I have had to change fuses that appear OK before

Fuse has been checked with the meter and fine. The connection on top of the tank has no power going to it either

I have just been out and checked mine, the wires from the pump trace back to a white box under the sink on mine (inside the narrow cupboard) there are a lot of wires going into the box then different colours coming out so there must be connectors in there

Your right, we traced the wires back there and no power there either. Can’t see where the problem can be

Which colour wire are you testing for power at the pump?
purple is +12v, pink is negative and green has no power unless you turn a tap on so I presume that between the microswitches and the green wire is a connection block, probably under the wardrobe because the green wire does not go the junction box under the sink and the other two do

edit:
It isn't in the wardrobe it is under the bathroom sink, I will try and take a photo

I would have found that block quicker if Chelsea were not playing Liverpool :rolleyes2:

Found that junction but no power ther either

I wish I was there to have a look because it is difficult to diagnose over 100 miles, I must admit though it is beginning to look like the elektroblok, if you look at block 8 it has the power for the pump, if you test the purple wire it should have a 12v reading, the green wire is the negative for the pump, if these are OK then there is a fault between the elektroblok and the multiblock in the bathroom, I will check my readings tomorrow and see if there is another connection anywhere, no football on tomorrow

I thought it was Rugby?

Does power not just pass through the Elektroblock, power is always on to step, pump, fridge and a couple of lights isn’t it? 5a fuse on EBL on mine for pump so should be able to test fuse holder on EBL if you can get to it

Power does just pass through, I didn't have time to check yesterday and wondered if there was a relay but there isn't, I found this post from 2011
No Water HYMER 534

We have checked fuse and holder and both fine. Our wiring is a different colour to yours but we have checked the blocks you have shown in pics and no power to any of them. It all worked fine when we took a direct power source from else where so maybe we will have to just run a totally fresh power source to the block. Thanks for looking
