Hymer control panel help

I wonder if any technicals can help. Changed the leisure batteries a couple of weeks ago. First time out going in to Germany. Stopped st Stennay on the way, €9 with electric. This is the first time we have connected to mains, the control panel is not showing we are connected to mains even though fridge and boiler are working

Any ideas have I missed something with the batteries. MH is. Hymer B774 control panel is DT200

Hi,

Check to see if the mains plug is pushed correctly into the main control box.

Reverse Polarity?

It will not affect the 240 supply to the sockets and equipment but may well not illuminate the power light on the control panel.

Thanks for the replies. When I changed the batteries as I reconnected the inverter I had left the inverter switched on but with the internal selector switch turned to external 240v. As soon as I turned the inverter off the symbol came up.
