Base vehicle? Stud size? 🤔
Does anyone actually use a torqe wrench to tighten wheel nuts?
Somewhere round about 160Nm?

I do on my car because it was pretty expensive and I don’t want to wreck it when I change summer/winter wheels!! On the car with 20” wheels I use 129 lb.ft (175Nm). On my Sprinter based Hymer I think it should be 190Nm

My Hymer has steel wheels and the handbook states 180 nm. The book is not handy until perhaps Monday. I shall check if alloy is mentioned then if you have not resolved it.

I'm not using the van anyways the now

Not that I use a torque wrench on wheel nuts, but for my Sprinter alloys it's 190Nm +/- 20, so not an exact science!

180nm here and yes i do have and use a good quality torque wrench that gets calibrated every year :)

Have to say i only use a cross brace to tighten wheel nuts use coppaslip on the threads as well - even when a wheel has been done professionally with tyre change some nuts are a lot tighter than others and have even used an extension bar before on some stubborn nuts to get at pads

Same here, I build aircraft mostly without a torque wrench, but always use one on vehicle wheels.
If I have to take vehicle to a tyre depot (as opposed to my friends garage) first thing on getting home is slacken off then torque up the wheel nuts/bolts.

Indeed so.
Too many people think the tyre depots fit the wheels with precision settings but I have only ever seen one place use a Torque wrench to finish off the job.
I've not checked my nuts (oh err missus) since I had new wheels and tyres fitted back in October, but not done more than maybe 50 miles since then so hasn't been an urgent job, but I will be doing just as you say above before using the Motorhome in ernest (or even in Scotland).
