Looks like there’s not going to be any more designated motorhome parking in Southend Road Hunstanton. They are going to build flats on it.
Construction begins to turn a car park into a development of flats for local people on Southend Road later this month.
Due for completion later next year, the scheme will offer 32 new homes, 6 of which will be affordable.
Cabinet member for regeneration and development, Cllr Richard Blunt, said: “This is an excellent scheme. It will provide new homes, with priority given to local people, it has been designed to high standards and it will benefit the town’s economy.”

That's a shame another WC gone, we used the Honeystones carpark, had a very nice meal and a couple of pints last time we was in Hunstanton so all is not lost.

It probably also benefitted a few councillors bank accounts somewhere along the line as well.
